I spotted the Onion reference, but then got confused by the people who said otherwise. This is being spread across blogs, forums and websites all around the 'Net, as absolute fact. In half-an-hour I found 8 or 9 people dicussing this 'news' and taking it as gospel from the band themselves. Sooner or later, one of the news sites that publicized Jaz's initial outburst is going to start repeating it as fact and- unfortunately- there's a fair amount of ill feeling against the band being generated by this latest 'publicity release'.
 
Some of us have some pretty damn solid reasons for harbouring a grudge (cancellations, lost money, welched promises), but the idea that Our Heroes are getting shit for things they haven't actually done or said is not a happy one.
