Exactly right Alex.  And for a few years you couldn't throw a goth in Chicago without finding one used in the many (and now mostly gone) record stores.  Got mine for $35.  Nothing special other than colored vinyl.  Not sure if it was a cash in during Killing Joke or post.

I met KJ backstage in 1994 after a show in Columbus, Ohio, where they signed my copy of "Incomplete Collection."
 
I can still get a scratch-n-sniff contact high from the cover to this day.
