I'd have thought gigs at £20+ a ticket would be where the money is at.
And merchandise at said gigs I guess. Don't bands see illegal
downloads as advertising for gigs now? If everyone who saw them in the
UK on the recent tour bought the album it would probably have got in
the top ten.

Anyway I'm sure you're right and KJ can eek out a living with your
long tail theory. I wasn't really lamenting how few people like them
but rather saying I don't blame them for doing an arena tour. To put
what must have been a lot of hard work into producing a great album
only for it to sell a few thousand must be hard to take. After all the
costs involved and the retailers taking their cut there can't be much
left over to share between the four of them.
