Not only do I find it quite sad that on the first week of release UK
sales only amount to not quite 4000 but also the fact thats enough to
get as high a chart placing of 44.

Have album sales declined that much? I remember back in the 80s and
early 90s when regularly bands had 7" 12" and CD Single limited
editions of around 10000 copies.
