[kj] MMXII the CD

I like the album as a whole. AD had some great tracks that are my favorites,
but there were 3-4 tracks that I disliked, which for me, I had omitted when
I put it on my ipod. MMXII for me is a full album, like Pandemonium, the
first 3 LPs, and Extremities. And I am a fan of Democracy, that album I
always listen all the way through!!

I love All Hallows Eve but both Trance and Glitch are bordering on
"Hollywood Babylon" and "Drug" bad for me.

Wow the sound is so much clearer on the CD compared to the mp3s.
I'm really appreciating the production on this CD compared to the last to
albums.
Personally don't like it when the mix sounds like 'whitenoise' but don't get
it at all on the new one.
It must me my age as with that and Jaz shouting all I get is a headache :-(

Just had a listen through of the CD for the first time. Yes very clear
production. Very happy with that. Still loving the album.

Jamie, did you ever figure out what 'On All Hallow's Eve' reminded you
of? Because it's driving me crackers!

The artwork... well at least they didn't put an umlaut on the 'O'.

Yeap
Only got the red vinyl 12". Not separate CD single or combi set I also order
(separately)
Had a listen now and not a bad track by any means. I'd say fairly tipalce of
the album. Semi tribal drums. No growling from Jaz. Slow melancholy tune and
quite long but don't know how long as it doesn't say.

paul,
it reminds me of a tears for fears track, can't remember which one
people might not like this track but no-one else is making music that sounds
like this.

Cheers, Ade. The opening bars remind me of 'Spirit in the Sky' (LOL),
the bass reminds me of 'Waterfront' by Simple Minds and the vocal
reminds me of Lilac Time (not something I ever thought I'd say about
KJ) but it's not any of those, it reminds me of something else too.
Maybe it is that TFF song.
