I remember that the Ramones did about 2200 or so shows over their 22 year career, but of course they toured all the time.

66.6, to be exact. Per year, every year.
 
They'll be lucky to be at 1000 shows, much less 2200.

I think he means "cancelled 2200 shows over 33 years..."
