We hope to raise some of the funds to help the radio station which is run on
solar panels and needs to increase its power supply

 

Fuckin I'm run on solar panels and need to increase my power supply, would
they do a benefit gig for me?! 

 

Or how about this, if they play a gig in NZ, I'll hook up a treadmill
generator for the radio station, and Bongo and I will take turns to run it
(literally) for 6 months. My only stipulation is they'd have to have
Soundgarden on high rotate =) 

 

So anyway, seriously.150 copies x 25 = 3750 CHF = 5700 NZ

 

They'd get a lot more than that from playing a gig in NZ, hell I'm close to
saying I'd pay them that myself if they'd play down here. For Jonny Bongo
and I to get tickets to go to UK / US / Europe to see them would cost that. 

 

PS: What is this radio station they are trying to promote? (Promoting
without mentioning the name.er)

"Jaz did a 2 hours plus interview while on his beloved island in New Zealand
to celebrate KJs 32 anniversary. We put together a very cool DIY double cd
package with Jaz describing the inspirations and antedotes of each track
played, etc. We hope to raise some of the funds to help the radio station
which is run on solar panels and needs to increase its power supply. It is a
great collecters piece-each numbered and signed by Jaz-150 copies only. It
would be great if you could pass this info on to the Gatherers and let them
know a bit about it and that they can order it through Jean Marilles shop
Sounds in Geneva.

The cost of the cd is 25 chf plus postage 3chf. the postage price depends on
the amount ordered and where to

At the risk of getting egged what's the Island CD?

trust us to send the cds. It is the only way we can do this, it is

The only things i might add are that i know the 2 guys who owned the records
shop in Geneva and they are trustful and very close to Jaz as he always
stays at his house when he is in Geneva and i went there too last 20 oct
2010 for having a dinner in memory of Paul Raven and that i have ordered 2
copies for myself and one of the guy confirmed to me by phone and mail that
they had been sent, so...
