Killing Joke are a metal band, perhaps listen to THEIR LATEST ALBUM if
you're in any doubt. Or their first.

Therefore you should all stop waffling about which of these naff pop bands
are less shit than the rest, go out and get a few litres of bourbon, don
your black jeans (paint your corduroys black if the black jeans don't fit
anymore), go over to your album collection and pick out something with a jet
black album cover, and crank it to 11.

The only 'pop' band worthy of mention on this list is Queen, because as we
all know, Queen invented thrash metal in 1974. Before breakfast.

No further warnings will be issued; swift action will follow any
transgressions.

Stone Roses the album is great apart from the backwards one and 'Scarborough
Fair' cover. 'I am the Resurrection' one of my favourite songs. Love 'Mersey
Paradise' and 'Elephant Stone' too. Then they completely lost it. Not
interested and the tour as Brown's vocal inadequacies cruelly exposed live
but will give new material a listen.

Don't like Oasis music at all but have time for Noel in interviews. Liam's a
knob'ed.

Didn't like Primal Scream or Happy Mondays. Black Grape were ok. Cast: Beat
Mama! Catchy as hell but yeah Britpop a load of old retro tosh in the main.
Never felt a part of it at the time. Killing Joke the pertect antidote.

True -- there's a DIRECT line from the Stone Roses to Oasis, a band the
Stone Roses shit on from a great, brown splattery height.

NEVER understood the appeal of Oasis. Absolutely never. I mean, competent?
Sure. But better than average? N E V E R.

>Stone Roses first album and Fools gold are still great works. The

production is great. The guitar playing is fantastic and the drumming is
astounding. An excellent album then and now. Yes. It all went plop but
that's what hype does!

band!

very questionable choices regarding his behaviour from airline threats to
spitting at fans. Not a nice man in my opinion. Squire disappeared after
that shocking seahorses band and the only one who did owt of merit is Mani.
A great bassist and a bit of a lad too.
