There is an album of 12" / remixes by Bow Wow wow..the best album..limited singing ;) ..
As for the Antz, get everything pre McClaren. Dirk wears WS is a masterpiece! There were 2 classic bootlegs, the Decca Tapes and Nachtgesprachen, most tracks on these can be found on the AntBox, but not all :(.
I own everything they did up to Stand and Deliver...a brilliant madman..

Why do you think Malcolm Mclaren had such a bad reputation? He stole all the Antz from Adam. His entire original line up was taken off to work with Annable Lwin, to produce some stonking tunes. One of them is supposed to have raped the poor girl, once she got hooked on drugs. So anyway do the words attributed to Vivienne Westwood go, in this wierd book Fashion and Perversity which is written by someone as if her, quoting her, but its not. I don't know?

Anyhow. I think one of them turned up on Wonderful. Adam had to start all over again with a new crew. Marco, thingy, Terry-Lee, Gary Tibbs etc.

Brilliant to jump around to music! Spot on! We did mate, we so did. I saw them back in 1982.

Do you have any Bow Wow Wow? That band had some of the same musicians as Ants and a similar sound, but from
what I've heard I like BWW's songs more, and they are great to dance and jump around to.

Hello folks!

Yesterday I made the formidable leap of actually buying my first Adam and the Ants CD: the funky expanded edition of Dirk Wears White Sox with the later singles on. It's great and all that, but it has left me needing answers to a few questions, so of course I turned to the wizened old gnomes of the Gathering...

a) Is this, as I've heard it called, his best album? EASILY.

b) Since I like it, should I invest in Kings of the Wild Frontier? YES, BUT EXPECT TO BE LET DOWN A TOUCH.

c) Did the band routinely put blinding 'choons ('Beat My Guest', 'Physical' etc) as b-sides? Should they be tracked down too? BUY B SIDE BABIES/ANTBOX

d) Can anyone here play 'Physical'? I think I have it figured out, but am I right in thinking the riff moves between E5 (022) and the open strings? ONLY ON AIR GUITAR.

Help would be appreciated!

Jim.
