My only complaint (barely) about the reissues is that the packaging wasn't expanded upon. And maybe more bonus material from that album era. So pics of the singles. Photos etc. Forget all this nonsense. Where are the videos. That is the one thing they have not milked

To be fair, RFH was pretty stunning - an audio visual attack on the senses.
As for any potential re-releases, precisely who would buy these ? much better to bring out a 2 disc AD with all the unreleased stuff on disc 2.

Yes, I was wondering what 'repackaging and improving' meant. I have at least 2 copies of
most KJ albums on CD and 2 copies on LP, having been unable to resist the re-released vinyl.
What can possibly be added to make them worth buying yet again? (If by improving they
mean remastering/remixing/re-producing/whatever Fire Dances and Revelations, I could be tempted...)
And as for the RFH gig being released as the 'definitive live album', what do people who were at
that gig think? Was it really so definitive?

Yeah, the Coles recognition is really the only silver lining here. I Spinefarm unaware that the entire back catalog was already recently exhumed, remastered and re-released (well, apart from KJ03 and HOPELESSANNAS)

Still, nice to see Colesy get a mention. Here's hoping he gets the new LP also.

At the start of the year we announced a deal with Spinefarm/Universal for a brand new studio album, which we’ll announce details of after this summer. We’re really excited to be back working with the label who put out Absolute Dissent, and we’re also glad to announce they’ll be taking control of some of the back catalogue which we will be repackaging and improving over the course of the next year.
It was great to see so many of you in London, Nottingham and Manchester, and at the Camden Crawl recently, for our big return to playing live with the full original line-up. As you may know, Jaz retired to the Great Barrier Island, Paul to New York, Geordie to Prague and Youth to Andulucia, but with the release of ‘European Super State’ we’re all very much back in action and looking forward to a massive summer ahead. We’ll have more UK festival news to come soon as well.
We’ve also got something very special to announce for fans of the Killing Joke live show. Following our show at the Royal Festival Hall, which was accompanied by stunning visuals designed by Mr. Mike Coles, an artistic genius and longtime Killing Joke collaborator, we can now announce that the performance will be released as the definitive Killing Joke live album. Fans will have many ways to get hold of a copy, the details of which we’ll announce in early June.
The band are already working on the new album and preparations are now underway for our European Tour starting in June which takes us straight into a full summer of festivals, taking in Roskilde and Sonisphere to name but a few.
It is however with great regret that Killing Joke have been forced to cancel the upcoming US dates due to health issues within the band. We hope to be back to the States very soon and appreciate all your support.
This is going to be an incredible year for Killing Joke, and we look forward to the future, and seeing you all at our shows.
All the best, Killing Joke.
