Didn't that jangly-chime guitar sound extend into the Extremities era (although
with a heavier edge)?

I really like it.  For me it's the beginning of my favourite musical period of
the Joke - the chime: late 83 to early 85.

Blue Feather (in fact the whole Jensen session) is in the same category.
