IMO, I wouldn't be surprised if this is it for the  band. While they seem 
adamant about recording a new album this year and  they
clearly do have a number of quality leftover tracks from the last  album, 
the band is so dysfunctional (and always has been) that
they're once  again going to lose whatever small momentum they gained the 
last couple years  whether a new album comes out or not.
There is and always has been  something fundamentally screwed up about how 
they conduct their business  affairs, especially when it
comes to touring.  I don't know if it's  because they consistently attract 
incompetent people on the  business/management end or if
the problem is right there at the top with  Jaz and Geordie but I've never 
seen any other band shoot themselves in the  foot at every
possible  opportunity.
