[kj] OT - "They're dropping bombs again..."

I, for one, drive only a stick-shift car. I get noticeably more mileage
therefore buy less petrol during any given cycle of any length. I also strain
the engine less, making it last so much longer, and I change the brakes 3 times
less often than anyone else I know and that's also because of the stick-shift
factor. I am therefore greener than an old world leprechaun in a lime green suit
while bathed in green neon at a St.Patrick's Day rave.

Proper leadership assures autonomy and freedom from unhealthy/unwise
dependencies, which requires Governments to make us free of the dependence of
oil.

Or that's what it says on Wikileaks....

Without oil, everything would literally grind to a halt
Even a disruption to the oil supply would cause petrol prices to rise, which ,
as has been previously shown, would  cause
prices of everything to rise which would cause inflation . Food, clothes and
every other commodity would rise in price.
Oil is vital for the economy and its the Governments job to make sure that we
receive a regular supply of oil .
I wounder how many of the "its all about oil brigade" were protesting at the
petrol stations about the cost of petrol

O.I.L. In everyone's best interests.
Sudan, and 100 other places, low interest.
