[kj] Best Gig*(After 91)

I think I have fondest memories of the Barfly gig - great evening all round,
a good few hours
sat outside the pub chatting to one and all, Jaz in the best of moods
holding court at the bar
before the show, Jester playing drums, Raven dispensing good cheer all
round,
and of course one almighty beer and sweat drenched thrash down the front.
What a fantastic night.
2003 tour was also memorable - I took a friend who had written off KJ in the
80s and
during Death & Resurrection Show he turned to me and shouted 'This is
fucking
unbelievable!'
That and my first, Lyceum '81 (with Discharge supporting) - frankly
terrifying for a young
chap - and yes the Hammy Palais gig in 82, was down the front when the
barrier
surrounding the TV camera collapsed from weight of the crowd. Jaz looked
down at
total mayhem with bodies being crushed and then announced Wardance...
bastard!
Also Subterrania... ah, I could go on...
I found an old gig ticket from Astoria 95 the other day - what tour was
that?
Sounds did do some weird stuff with the band. Was it Sounds who gave WTF..!
five stars
for the music but one star 'morally'?
