[kj] Sonisphere set last night

maybe a bit of an exaggeration ... they could only play for 60 mins ... they only did 30 mins at midday on the main stage last year - the timing & setting was perfect for Killling Joke last night and the crowd was enthusiastic. They came on at 23:10 & the large Bohemia tent was rammed. We had the extra pleasure of Dave Simpson knocking out a few Geordie riffs as they were setting up. The place went mental during The Great Cull & I was very impressed with Jason Bowld's drums.

Unfortunately I needed to find a loo by Depthcharge but then couldn't back into the tent until Pandemonium :o(

IMHO a triumphant performance and I suspect they won over quite a punters.
