[kj] cancelled European Super State

I don't think the fact that the single has been pulled is a sign that the
album didn't sell well or that the revamped version is any less likely to
appear, quite the reverse if anything. KJ are an album band. They always
were but even more so now. That there was even talk of a second release
suggests to me that the album did better than expected.

Having said that, I must confess I don't recall how official the
announcement of a deluxe version was, but I seem to remember Jaz brought it
up in an interview. The unreleased tracks exist so you'd expect them to do
something with them and this would appear to be the most logical option, if
they're not using them as "b-sides".

Time will tell. I do hope we get to hear all the extra tracks and remixes. I
agree it would be tragic if we didn't.

I don't think signing with Spinefarm was the smartest move they ever made,
I'd have much preferred to see them with Malicious Damage, but it hasn't
been an unmitigated disaster. Yet.
