People in the UK are either too apathetic, tired and overworked, or 
plain stupid to riot.  Only students have the time and energy to riot 
these days!

I say "plain stupid" because a lot of dumb people don't care about the 
state of shit.  On the news recently, people in the street were asked 
their opinions on the recent VAT increase (to a grossly unjust 20%), one 
girl said: "It won't bother me because my dad buys everything".
