Best stand-up (gigs or TV, DVD etc): Paul F Tompkins - Freak Warf

Worst film(s): I had to sit through Diary of a Wimpy Kid for the sake of my 
daughter. Some of the films being made for kids these days are quite well done 
and are just as enjoyable for parents as well. This wasn't one of those films.

Worst TV show(s)/series: Glee, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Grey's 
Anatomy. You know, the bullshit that people talk about constantly that I've 
never seen one second of. Also, the once amazing Office is really headed 
downhill. Time to stop.

Worst album(s) & single(s): The Dillinger Escape Plan album that came out this 
year was a real letdown. Same with Massive Attack and Autolux. The Daft Punk 
Tron album was lame for many reasons, too numerous to get into. Derezzed is a 
great song though. 


Worst book(s): Marvel's adaptation and continuation of Stephen King's Dark Tower 
series is pretty dumb.

Worst gig(s): Didn't see any bad ones last year.

Worst stand-up: Didn't see ANY stand up last year.

Any resolutions for this year: I'm going to stop sneezing cuz I'm sick of it.

What were your childhood ambitions? Have you managed to fulfil any or all of 
them? I honestly don't remember having any big aspirations as a kid, just kind 
of floated through life. And here I am! So, yes, all goals achieved. 


If you could make one species of animal extinct, what would it be? Not a species 
per se but that one smart-alec killer whale who splashed the almighty shit out 
of me at Marineland this summer. I'd like to see him get his.
