Ha! Touche'.
I sense a pattern here,
BTATS (yay! for many) >> OTG (nay) >> EXDAVRE(uberyay!); and
KJ2003(yay) >> HOS (nay, for most?) >> AD (yay!),
so we're due for another standout-studio project a la BTATS/KJ2003/PDM to repeat
the whole cycle again.
... ... ... ... ... ...
[looking at the current state of things..]
'Who has the fun..
..is it always a man with a gun...?
Someone must have told him if you work too hard... you can sweat"

It already did happen again. Hosannas begat Absolute Dissent.

I'm not "getting" the 'HEROICALLY' part of that. It was a (self-proclaimed, no
less) self-indulgent, self-defeating, self-imploding, band-exploding,
divisive(of the band) work, ultimately abandoned by the band itself. [I know it
was mostly a solo gig, but the band was to play in it, whatever that all
meant....] I really don't see the heroism (or even as creatively-evolving) in
it at all. Really seems like Jaz just went too far and all paid the price.
That said *big smiley-face here* if that's what was the catalyst/kick-in-the-ass
that inspired the self-correction aka "Extremities, D&VRE" then I say do it
again, let's have another one. *holds nose and buys that 'other one'*

Nope. Without question, HOSANNAS = the worst Killing Joke album ever (and that
includes Courtauld Talks as well). OTG may be HEROICALLY flawed, but at least
there were some fleshed-out ideas on it (however misdirected).
HOSANNAS is bereft of song.
