Ah, you're right (just looked it up). Eno was on E'G, but didn't have a controlling stake. My mistake.
Wonder what an Eno-produced KJ album would sound like?

EG was set up by David Enthoven and John Gaydon. I am not sure in what context Eno was involved, besides he releasing the majority of his early work on the label.
Roxy Music and King Crimson were the original money shakers for the label.

Isn't Eno the brainchild/primary stockholder behind former longtime Killing Joke distributor, E'G records? Isn't there some acrimony there?

I've always been curious as to what a KJ album produced by Eno would be like...but am not sure you could get both Jaz and his ego in the same room...

Dear All,
I received this email from Jaz:
"It is true we are playing the hall along with Brian Eno. I know it is a seated venue but it is a great honour to be asked by the Southbank to perform as I've always wanted to play this venue. However I will ask the hall if it is possible to take out the seats at ground level. We are also playing Nottingham Rock City for those who want the more traditional venue. I would like to get the band to do more numbers from Extremities, Democracy, 2003 and Hosannas. We will have an open rehearsal in the uk which gatherers will be invited to. This will be at at the Dog House studios in Henley {it's actually on the Thames at Shiplake. Dates, as yet, unknown}. When I leave New Zealand we will begin writing in March for the new 2012 recording. Killing Joke has a new recording deal."
Exciting stuff!
See you in London!
