[kj] Gathering Digest, Vol 91, Issue 23

Greetings,
Thought this was wind-up but having seen the SBC website I see it's a fact.  However I would agree with you about the RFH, saw The Fall there & apart from presence of John Peel & novelty of seeing Dick Dale was not too brilliant although that might have been something to do with Fall themselves of course.  I think I saw Wire there too,(2000) although had not seen them for while so was better & also Sonic Youth in Goodbye C20.  Again something different.  Not tempted at all really, although I may consider £15 tickets. Would only be worthwhile if the set involved "something different", for example fire breathers, animals or nude dancers.

Also the write up on the official SBC site is rather pathetic, seems like they have cut & pasted from something a while back..  Don't they mean the triumphant return of 2008?!!  And what forthcoming album, I think they maybe mean Absolute Dissent!!  Here we go, off to see Mr Heron soon to see if he knows any more.

If it really is orchestrated KJ music sung in Latin by a full choir, then I
am definitely coming.
