Amazing how much bigger and better the UK shows seem compared to the small club, poor lighting, blurred sounding, dull stage-looking shows they've
done in the last 10 years (in Boston anyway).

Very cool Darren! I must say seeing all those visuals makes it bit more exciting! And not to mention all those bald men at the front too! HA! ;)
Cheers for that!

Don't get me wrong.... It just seems they are playing the same songs on the past tours since they all reformed and variety is good in switching each setlist for gigs. Just look at their bootlegs. I love KJ and probably will give in to see em' for they do put on a good show. They are one of my favorite bands live and will always be. ;)

"not switching their setlist around" is one of the biggest understatements I've ever heard. They make the Ramones seem like a new-album live band.
Still, you gotta see the Joke--you never know when that magic show may happen. Unfortunately however they do seem to get less intense every
10 years or so they play live in Boston.

Fuckin lame! One thing they need to do is communicate which doesn't seem to be happening in full for when they hook up dates. Not having a band meeting and not telling one another the dates they are playing or if they can is beyond me! This is why we held out for tickets for LA. The last tour was a disappointment too with not Youth on board towards the end. It was a good show.... but not their best I have ever seen, and I have seen em' a lot since 82. And it looks like they are not switching their set list around and the only way to tell is when they start playing the US dates. I'm kind of getting sick of the same songs played on same setlist . But who knows we may go but as of now I don't think so.
Thanks for the info Jon!
Cheers,

Sad i missed it - it could be the final gig with the original line up as BPF is not drumming for the American dates / Europe Festival dates.....but somebody hi profile is expected to replace him.shame.
