Well Ive got to admit thanks to Mr Colesy doing what he does best I got a  
ticket and a back stage pass ,never had one in my life.
 
After a days grafting and getting stuck in East London rush hour I was  
almost giving up hope and with an abcess looming in my nether regions which I  
have had twice before was really aiming at a couple of pints and fucking off 
to  bed.
 
Thanks to my mates who I hadnt informed them was my bday for obvious  
reasons they persuaded me to go , so jumped in a car and got down by half  7.
 
Met up with Antoni, Lisa G and her fella in the bar area got my ticket and  
pass and proceeded to the arena as it was getting towards half 8 and was  
informed the band wanted to start.
 
Got to my SEAT cant do seats aint me, as the music warmed up I stood up and 
 thought fuck it am going down the front, so went down met up with Antoni 
again ,  Darren , Jane and went for it .
 
I guess under normal circumstances not including my abcess and seating  
arrangement I would have let rip , still did my best , sweated like hell and  
after getting another beer or two took my pandemonium t shirt off and joined  
Jane and Paul in the limited space of a mosh pit.
 
There might have been a few nutters of football hooligans in the crowd but  
i gave it my best and came out slighty battered blood on my hands (pardon 
the  pun) .
 
At the end went to stage right showed em my pass (sticker) which the chubby 
 bouncer duly placed on my belly and went in pursuit behind stage followed 
by a  lovely couple the fella is a friend of Matt Luxon and his woman 
Antoinette, we  made it to a bar which was filling up with people who m Ive never 
met  so felt a bit out of place .
 
After a first smoke outside (cigarette wise) came back in and chatted to  
the couple, turns out the pass courtesy of Big Paul was AAA access all areas, 
 hadnt a clue.   So after another beer went outside and Youth was  having a 
smoke so was Jaz.
 
Told the chap his hero was standing to my side and eventually ended up  
having his photo and mine with youth done too.
 
Didnt bother with Jaz untill the end when I shook his hand and said thanks  
for a good night.
 
I took the oppertunity of shaking Big pauls hand and saying thank you for  
getting me on his list.
 
Just after 12 there was an other chance of going to a party down the road  
but i was knackered and had to be out on the road for 6ish.
 
I am feeling the after effects of last night but thanks to  Colesy  and Big 
paul they made my 49th a  bit special.
 
Thanks to everyone I met and gave me there support and once again to all  
cards and emails that have been sent.
 
You give me the strenght to carry on
