[kj] Manchester

This is true. Elongated people, on top of aggravating any oompa loompas
standing behind them at gigs, also have a higher surface area to volume
ratio, hence take more energy - carbon - to keep warm and also excrete more
C02.

Don't you think taller people should have to wear solid vinyl jackets or
vinyl plates at a show; vinyl scatters the sound around brilliantly. Fuckin'
giants!

Hm... They have a bigger carbon footprint harming the planet too, didya
know?

I was pretty much central in the room, surrounded by much taller people
which could have contributed to the muffling.

Yeah, Depthcharge was my least fave, and if I'd been at the back by the door
I'd have nipped to the bar. I'd also love to hear Night Time (and could add
plenty of others we'll probably never hear again), but I put Darkness Before
Dawn at the top of any wish list - I just have to count myself lucky to have
heard it once.

Might be weird hearing LLB early on, but dropping it altogether (like last
time I saw them) was most upsetting! As long as it's somewhere the set at
all, I'm happy.

I was right at the back and agree the sound could have been better.

had a better view!)

Yes, from the new album those two in particular worked well. They could
easily drop 'Depthcharge' without offending too many people in my opinion.
I'd love to hear 'Night Time' but we could argue forever about setlists. I
agree with whoever said LLB early on felt a bit weird, too.

Can only echo what you said about the atmosphere being great. Hope they
keep ESS and Great Cull in the set for future tours, good crowd pleasers.

I thought the sound was a bit muffled but that could have just been from
where I was - wish I'd got a bit closer, but the crowd surfing and beer
throwing put me off. Great gig, though.

Cheers,
Janean
