Was really gutted to find that it was an early curfew, got there at
8:35 to hear they were already starting the first few bars of "Love
Like Blood", fortunately only missed the opener, but shit what an
opener, my favourite bassline ever on "Unspeakable" oh well at least I
heard them play it at the Forum gig.

Seemed a pretty packed gig, not sold out but it must have been getting
close..surprised after coming in late how easy it was to muscle the
way down the left side of the venue to the front though, where me and
the wife had an excellent view.

As mentioned here, sound was definitely a little sketchy, from where
we were stood certainly sounded like Geordie's guitar was slightly too
low in the mix, especially noticeable on stuff off the latest album,
"The Great Cull", "Depth Charge" and "This World Hell", otherwise band
were definitely on form and the best I have heard them in a long
while.  Good spirited too, seemed they were really enjoying
playing.....Psycche being a particular highlight.

As for the curfew, would not surprise me if there were more
latecomers, I was totally amazed, KJ NEVER come on early...certainly
was a disco afterwards, never had I seen so many 16yr old+ girls
flocking towards a venue where most 40yr + men were walking out!   Was
a sight of varying emotions for both parties I am sure!
