Sorry folks am back on the board, I contributed to the old site before was attacked by mountains of canned Spam.

Just quickly, really looking fwd to this new LP, 45 etc.  Also to the Fleece this weekend especially as night after S Ignorant, wot  a weekend!!  Just to pick up on previous comments on BTATS.  That was the period when really lost interest in the Joke & still do not rate as classic LP, although to be fair have not heard re-mastered version yet.  I was appalled by tracks like Sanity & Love of The Masses having loved the thunder of all their stuff previously.  Thought Night Time was amazing too, although again thought Multitudes(subject was but not music) was not great & even then as innocent 20 year old thought the inclusion of Eighties was unneccessary as had been released almost year before.
Also saw them at Palais in 1987 & was not heavily impressed, the power of the past again seemed dissipated especailly as was heavily into noise of Fall at time.

Totally ignored Outside The Gate due to rumours & also bad press, a good pop LP I would now say.  Check out The Victorious City, amazing & was perfect antidote to first Gulf War!!!!  However all was to change when heard Extremities!!  Wow, that really restored my faith & started me off on my own musical success & back into subversive ideas, clothing, attitudes, explorations etc etc.  And what gigs!!  Atkins drumming too amazing!!  Perhaps my favourite ever LP by anybody!!

Murder Inc excellent too, especially live at Subterania 92.  So Pandemonium for me was  slight dissapointment although grew to love the LP in time & also the mixes, the powerhouse drumming attack was definitely missed, great gigs of course though.  Think Democracy is too under-rated, the second part especially is amazing & was distraught when that tour was cancelled.  1996-2002 was  time of searching for any similar music & also stuff that was maybe not commonly available.  What a wasteland of live power though!  2003, well what can u say, amazing shows again & very good LP, catchy riffs & songs & yet again Hosannas was bit dissapointing as with return of Raven thought they might do another Extremities.  However def has its moments!  And who can forget 2007?!!

Well, this EP this summer was superb!!  Not a duff track, especially love Kali Yuga too especially with its sentiments of "a sick society".  How very true!!  Am enjoying shouting out those words (& others) as I wear my headphones!!  So am waiting for this LP, with baited breath, had to order via RT due to slowness of Amazon & Spinefarm in getting the tribute info on site.  Have become bit worried by some of the comments but  if this LP reflects most KJ periods as u seem to be suggesting then that would be amazing!!  For me over the years KJ seems to have become a big part of my life of course & the amount of discussions about the band with strangers in UK & abroad has become extremely numerous.  Roll on the years.  Forgot to mention 2008 shows too, amazing!  Hoping that this new stuff live comes over more powerfully than the Heaven show!

All the best boys & gals, Andy Duncan.  The Fungus Moth.
