[kj] Swans

When I saw them in Pontiac it was fantastic.  really it was all new stuff.  And the new record is great.  The band was so tight.  We were talking to them quite a bit befroehand.  Very approachable.  It was a blast.  Everyone, EVERYONE kept reitterating how Gira really pushes them to the limits when playing.  As far as intensity.  SO it was a good thing.  But a few people were saying how they will be taking a break after the tour to heal themselves.  

I suggest seeing them live and picking up the new record

Swans were absolutely fucking increadible last night! Im not familier enough with their material to say what they played, but it was all very heavy and very very loud. Seen them a couple of times before but not for about 20 years. The video isnt from last night (I havent found any on youtube yet) but its the song they opened with and it was jaw dropping.
