The Empty Bottle in Chicago is a neighborhood divey-bar on the border of Ukrainian village westish from downtown.
 
It is a small venue, holding maybe an optimistic 400 max, thus the two shows. Neither show is sold out yet, but there hasn't been any real promotion yet, bar the EB website.
 
You should be fine waiting until November but December could be problematic. Thankfully, they use TicketWeb.com which is kind of like Ticketmaster for small venues, without the punitive service charges.
 
When KJ cancelled in May, TW refunded everything, including service charges and mailing fee.
