Another great one to look back upon!! Amazing gig at Hammersmith albeit not quite as intimate as The Fleece, Underworld or even Forum. However excellent set & atmosphere, although need to give my collection a rest as some songs did seem a little-overfamiliar!! Am now sporting good old bruised eye, bit odd really as seems to reflect what Jaz is trying to tell us underneath disc 3!! I hope this was not done deliberately!! I won't mention the fact that maybe my over-enthusiasm at dancing may have been partly caused by some cheap vodka earlier in eve, first time done that for while. Was not aware of the live CDs before as had missed messages, so great stuff! Was worth the outpouring of blood though, may have been interesting for the film crew? Declined the offer of medical attention later from concernd femlae member of satff, my haed is rsilienT & damged enough for it not to affect my behaviour!! xhxxhgdctcsftgsf!!! So not quite as clear headed as at Bristol but excellent nevertheless. Including vague memories of discussing Tribazik & encountering some fellow-gatherers at Hammersmith bus station later on during my wait for wonderful public transport. Glad to hear that all was well. Looking forward to reliving it this weekend with the CD, fortunately my neighbours are away but hope that there is no damage to myself or furniture!!

On the other points how anyone can say they don't like Dregs is beyond me, made me laugh on first hearing & still quite an amazing track with unusual improvised type-lyrics!! I think tht would work really well live. Shame they could not have done more of that experimental sort of stuff. Victory too is decent track, like the powerful funky bass. Yeah Singularity does sound little like Eighties, definitely. Medicine Wheel excellent too, as is most of Democracy.

So I would like to nominate A Southern Sky as the worst track. Good lyrics but poor attempt at pop song. Atrocious in other words: but only in world of KJ, stands up well to lot of other music.

As for Extremities proposal that sounds amazing. However will not hold my breath, been dissapointed before, worst case being 96 tour & also wasting money on Gems Of Power . What ever happened to that? Does anyone have a copy? Classical stuff sounds interesting too, hopefully should shake up the Barbican or South Bank, although personally would prefer Branca type adaptations with vocals over top.

Thanks again fellows for fine night. Anyone for Alien Sex Fiend in 2 weeks, really looking fwd to that as playing lot of old stuff & not seen since 1997/8 as missed 2007 gig.
