Cheers Darren. I've given it some thought, but finally decided my family are indeed correct- I'm not up to going right now. The scars are starting to heal but they're bloody painful, especially at the back, which makes sitting pretty damn difficult. Besides, I can't manage much activity without getting worn out. Thanks anyway, much appreciated!

The operation was last week, but what should have been a fairly simple keyhole operation became a lot more complicated, and the quacks say it'll be another couple of months before I'm back to my previous condition. If it was up to me I'd nail myself to a wall in the Apollo and worry about it later, but I'm currently relying on family and they'll never let me out the house. Damn glad I got to see Big Paul with the band in 2008 though!
