All joking aside -- and certainly Coleman in his later years did himself no 
favors with his crass, tabloid behavior -- 42 is too damned young, even 
considering his health problems. However, at one time he was an incredible 
powerful person in the entertainment world (which, for a very young boy, was 
really something).
My husband worked in a well-known hobby shop in Southern Calif. in the late 
80s, and said Coleman came in and asked him a few questions. My spouse said 
Coleman was polite -- and of course, everyone was staring at him.
Overall though, Coleman's life is the usual cautionary tale of celebrity.
