True enough.

It's also about expectation of course - they were probably one of my two favourite bands of the nineties, so they had a lot to live up to!

I guess every band has an off day now and again. I saw them in
righton just after Rhythm & Stealth came out, and they were quite
isappointing that night.

oo. Very loud and not very interesting.

I can totally see that being true. I hope I get the chance to see them play.
I wanna say they're better at making their music than Killing Joke is at
heirs. LF has my complete respect and admiration.

PS: I can relate: I saw Bauhaus play here 4 years ago (Glass House, for the
ocals) where BH opened with 1 single bass note flooding the room for several
inutes as they took the stage. Cosmic.

thats very good news indeed.

without doubt the best gig Ive ever seen was Leftfield (wth Orbital
supporting) at the London Docklands arena, New Years Eve 2001. They
had Afrika Bambaataa with them for Afrika Shocks. The opened the set
with just a single bass note - it was the loudest bass noise I have
ever heard! Leftfield are just fucking amazing live. Go see 'em if you
get the chance.
