I'm sure Glaciate & Lycopodeia would be happy to contribute

Can anyone imagine a Glaciate version of Stay One Jump Ahead?

It'd be great if a Killing Joke tribute band could play locally the same

This tenuously links to something I've been thinking about for a while
(& I think has been raised in the past?)
There are a lot of musicians on this list - people with real talent
who's myspaces etc have oft left me slack jawed - & people like me who
enjoy a dabble.

Would anyone be interested in putting together "A Gathering Tribute to
Killing Joke"?

There are plenty of tribute CD's out there but how many by the actual
fan base?

Whoever wants to, does a version/reworking of a KJ song.

We collate them all & share them.

Could be done to iTunes etc via reverbNation/CD Baby (they have
something in there for dealing with cover versions & copyright) them or
just have a bunch of MP3s somewhere for our own pleasure.

No snobbery.

No this is in, that isn't.

Just gatherers paying musical homage ("Homage?! You're drunk!") for fun.

Good idea?

Bad idea?
