all a shame.  i was lucky enough to attend the reunion show in new york that became the dvd Gotham, and it was absolute top notch.  they just fell prey to that ego/bad marriage syndrome that affects so many bands (smiths turning down $5 million for one show anyone?).

AND, though i'd imagine some gatherers have it already, and it was never officially released, Nine Inch Nails and Peter Murphy did a live studio show together taking turns doing each others material, as well as a slew of Joy Division tunes, Stooges, and even a great version of Warm Leatherette.  BY ALL MEANS seek it out on the torrents!! it's one of the best things either of them have ever done.

i dont mind it at all, some fines tunes on "Go Away White" IMO...if you make a cd comp with various era songs, it all fits together quite nicely

As I understand it, "Go Away White" was released incomplete because of one last, great ego explosion in the studio.  The boys parted ways for good after whatever was said, and "Go Away White" was put out (I assume because of contractual reasons) by slapping together some early takes and half-finished mixes.
