AMAZING album! I had the same kind of reaction when I bought it. Took me a few months to really absorb what was happening. It's such dense guitar-work. Good call, Marc. One of my favourite albums for sure.

For me, the re-evaluations are mostly centred around classic rock type stuff that I just had to get far, far away from starting towards the end of high school. I'm slowly coming back to certain artists. Lately, it's been Jimi Hendrix. I'm no fan of the blues, but some of the more psychedelic -tinged stuff is pretty nice.

Shudder To Think – Pony Express Record 
 
I bought this when it came out (93/94?) and, to be honest, wasn’t as thrilled with it as I could’ve been . . conversation on another list prompted me to dig it out again and I must say a radical re-evaluation has taken place 
 
Quirky, awkward, angular . . . . Lovely
