As far as I remember the tracks were recorded to a drum machine then
taken over to Grohl in America for his drums, never the best way to
record drums in my opinion . . .

Question: Are a lot of the drums on the 2003 album over dubs?
I was driving around to Seeing Red, and the snares seemed really
'abstract' to the mix in parts.
