I read up on these a while ago.

They're basically the same as your fake rolexes pretty much every detail reproduced.
Labour & materials much, much cheaper in China & with many factories producing goods for legitimate companies, they're also selling parts (such as pickups) to the fakers.
I read recently that they can knock out fake SM58's (which are flooding eBay) for as little as a dollar each.

Now whether you'd actually get one in the post after shelling out your cash is another question entirely but part of me does wonder what they'd be like...
