Sorry to hear about your job situation, Janean.
They've been doing the same where I work. All of we plebs get furloughs and wage decreases while the upper eschelons keep banking it.

I am now almost earning less than I did 6 years ago.

Don’t know yet.  Our jobs are going but they are creating new posts for people to compete for.  I will have to compete with my colleague (who’s also my best friend’s husband) for one new post.  There’s enough work for us both to be busy full time, but they don’t see it like that of course.  It doesn’t matter for the man who made that decision because he’s on £75k and can sleep pretty soundly at night.
