Actually, they *could* be trying to re-establish where they (original
members) left off when BPF left...he has mentioned in interviews that they
never lived up to their full potential, in terms of popularity. Influence I
dunno, that's a different story. They might have chosen to re-establish
their goals at a mid-late-80s point, either when they got back together or
based on how smoking they think the new material is. And their current label
just isn't a big enough platform for that.

 

I dunno don't shoot me just ruminating.
