Yeah, the tone is fuzzier than I would have expceted.
Was listening to the Nigh Time Era session the other day, that was a very clean sound. Gotta be precise with a tone like that.

If that's indicative of the quality of the rest of the album, then I am about to jizz my pants!----

Yeah rhythmically “end games” has a swing and the riffs geordie is going over - the little half tone drop - is reminiscent of “Fun And Games”. But it doesn’t “sound” like wilful or fun and games. Those songs are from Geordie’s finest tonal hour, and the guitar sound on those records is light years better than this.

Although I do agree that “end games” gives one cause for optimism for the new record, certainly in comparison to the KJ product of the last two records.
