[kj] (OT) World Cup

That was one of my favourite games of the tournament so far.
Did you notice how clean it was? No fouls, dives, rolling around on the
floor
crying like little girls, I think there was only one yellow card in the
whole game (for
a Brazilian of course). I think Brazil felt they couldn't pull off their
usual playacting/cheating
when faced with such a professional and sportsmanlike outfit. Contrast with
yesterday's game
against Ivory Coast - the last 15 minutes were a fecking disgrace, players
pretending to be
hurt, diving, fouling, all behaving like primary school kids - although
primary school kids have
more dignity I think.

There's something to be said for training your national team
under a brutal communist dictatorship ;-) N Korea were incredibly
disciplined and
if there had been another 30 mins they might have come level or even beaten
Brazil.
I'm loving all these "big" teams being taken down a peg or two - Switzerland
beating Spain, Serbia beating Germany, NZ holding Italy. Not to mention
France
self-destructing and England's spoilt multi-millionaire whining brats being
made to look
clueless by the mighty Algeria. Can't wait to see what Slovenia do to them!
