Yeah agreed. I can't imagine a band that could really open for the Joke these days, so a suitable DJ set would be great.

a dj opening for a band?? thats just wrong imo.
whats also wrong, imo, is having a 'related' band play...(label mates or whatever) not that that should exclude potential band, but for that to be a rule if it just doesn't suit is obviously no fun for the punters.

and while i'm here, i'd like to add that i dont like the idea of the ep tracks on the album... =)

They should have a DJ-set opening for them. Some lively reggae thrown in with the kj-remixes of the likes of Ladbroke Grove, the Pndmnm Waxworth Indus rmxs, etc.et.ce.tera...

With all due respect to Burton C. Bell's fans here, they were an ABJECT BORE. Then again, any band that dares tread the boards before Killing Joke are due to arrive has a hard road to travel.

I will be surprised if these jokers open for KJ anywhere other than Belgium and maybe the French / German dates.

The US dates will almost certainly have a North American act as openers, a la "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" or whatever that thing with Burton Bell I was subjected to three times in 2008 was...
