I think they actually picked the ones voted in, b/c there are a few really lame songs on the cd, and one of the good ones didn't make it on. Of corse the whole thing was done as a satire of coporate capitalism, along w/some funny "focus groups" (where they chose blue as the new energy dome color) and some hilarious emails from the fake "CEO" of Devo.

Look what happened with the new Devo album after they had the fans vote which songs they thought should be on the album....Nothing! They just picked the ones they liked. :)

In the mayhem that was last weekend and thus Monday there's a new message I spotted on Spinefarm confirming Absolute Dissent is the title but no release date-obviously massive delays in changing artwork-get out your Christmas stockings 2010/11
