   I think I know of which you speak. If it's what I think I've heard, then yeah, i'm also a fan of.  Kind of a "warm" sound, a bit mellower sounding, am i right? (tho i realize the final sound has so much t odo with how it's rigged&played)  Who else plays a Gretsch (Will Sergeant, The Edge, The Killers?)? 
 
I like them Rickenbackers too.

Very nice, but I'd still prefer a Gretsch Falcon :)
