Yeah, it's safe,  but that's the other good point I was getting at (as you hinted), that the name itself, "Gootube" is enough to make anyone leary of going there, since it makes it sound like pr0n.

I reckon Google missed a great opportunity to rename it GooTube when they bought it (for 1.6 bil...)

Pardon the lame thread title, but has anyone noticed an inordinate amount of high-quality live footage suddenly flooding YouTube of late? I'm certainly not complaining -- quite the contrary -- but I'm wondering what spawned it. Any ideas?
