[kj] May 27 - The Crofoot Ballroom (Pontiac)

Fair enough. I'm quite a fan of Night Time as well, along with BTATS,
Pandemonium and the two self titled it's a fave. I'd settle for seeing them
full stop...sigh. One day.

I respect the fact that various members of the Gathering have differing
opinions about NightTime. If anything, it speaks to the versatility of the
band that they've created such a musically diverse oeuvre, appealing to a
wide array of different sensibilities.

Personally speaking, NIGHTTIME is my fave, yeah, so I'm very excited. But to
Neil's point, I'm looking forward to hearing new music as well. I'd hate for
Killing Joke to simply become a nostalgia act, crankin' out the oldies for
the die-hards.

Now I have nothing against Youth as a bass player (in fact I think he is
rather good)

BUT . .

Will he be able to handle the Raven lines on Night Time? I have heard him
mullah LLB more than once

I wouldn't. Jaz'd hyperventilate and collapse doing the intro to Tabazan,
and we'd miss Europe, which is the only NT track I really want to hear live.

Myself I'd swap a number of major organs for the chance to see Night Time in
its entirety. And given that the album is only about 40 minutes long,
there's plenty of time for a selection from their latest album too...

I really, really hope this isn't what they are going to be doing in Europe.

Good album and everything, but ... zzzzz ... I'd rather hear new material!
