I was hoping that Mailer would get the hammer and pound Rip one in the  
eye... but he did a great job biting his ear!

Has anyone seen this  footage before of Rip Torn hitting Norman Mailer with 
a hammer? I haven't  and It is pretty violent so be prepared. Rip Torn is a
