For me, Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" and Killing Joke's "Absolute Dissent" were the two outstanding releases this year.  As usual for
the past few years, it's the re-issues in deluxe or extended editions of older albums from favorite artists that I was mostly buying
vs new stuff.  Springsteen's massive 3 cd, 3 Blu-ray set for his "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" 1978 album was my favorite reissue
by far.
