[kj] Opening Track

Funnily enough I was staying with an old mate in London last week, him and
his girlfriend are from Leeds and part of the old Mish circle. I asked
specifically
about Mick and was told that due to him never giving up the old
speed-fuelled
lifestyle, he is now pretty fucked and has ballooned to an enormous size. He
lives like a recluse and is rarely seen out, and people even have trouble
understanding him as he tends to gabble. All very sad. Most of the mob
up there knew when it was time to give it up - there were several heart
attacks and
other related health scares, a lot of them were injecting their drugs - but
Mick has
carried on. I last saw him about 7 or 8 years ago and he was pretty bad
then, so
god knows what he's like now. A great shame.
