There are some fucking great local bands here in the UK. 
Problem is the default position from the fans is " it's not our band so......."

Some of the "local" Oxford bands did ok I guess. 
Radiohead......supergrass........watch out for little fish too. 


When Kj supported joy Division they would have been seen as a bunch of no hopers 
by some. 

Go to the gig. Have a beer. Open your ears and shut the fuck up....;-)
